Once the Stripe payment service has been activated on your account, as explained in the article Activate the Stripe payment service, you can use specific tags to add the payment link to your email reminders. You can also track your payments directly from your Clearnox interface.

Add the payment link to client reminders

It's very important to define at which stages of your dunning scenarios you wish to add the payment link.

Next, as account administrator, you will edit the templates associated with these steps, to include the payment link:

    1. Go to the page Configure > Templates, click on the cogwheel icon next to the template you wish to edit.

    2. Add the tag %en_link_portal_invoices_with_payment% to the appropriate location in the template and save.

If the tag has not yet been integrated into your templates, this will be indicated in a message displayed at the top of the Configure > Online payment page.

Debtor’s experience upon receipt of the reminder email with payment link

The client receives the reminder with the payment link:

    1. The debtor clicks the button “Pay your invoices” or “View and pay your invoices” if the invoice management feature is activated.

    2. The debtor selects the entry/entries to be paid and clicks the “Pay” button.

Only entries with payment status “Unpaid” can be selected.

    3. The debtor enters their email address to receive payment confirmation and proceeds with the payment.

    4. The debtor is redirected to the Stripe page. If several payment methods have been configured from the page Configure > Online payment, these options will be offered on the portal viewed by the debtor.

5. All that's left is for the client to fill in the necessary information according to the payment method, and to validate the transaction by clicking on “Pay”.

Once the transaction has been successfully completed, you can view the payment status in the client’s account balance and on the page Track > Your payments. See the Track your payments article (incoming) for more information.
